Former New York Physician Wendy Sacks has created a series of children’s portraits, which she describes as “Living Immersed in the water.” While working in a children’s emergency room Wendy often had to deal with dramatic situations, including with the likes of which ended tragically.
After retiring from medicine to health, she found the way to their accumulated experiences in photography, which means she unconsciously tried to convey themes of suffering, death and spiritual struggle.
